I had a Facebook account for a couple of years before I started using it. I much prefer F2F interactions when possible. But they are good for keeping in touch with friends & family in remote locations. The biggest thing I have found useful about the Facebook is reconnecting with old classmates & Navy buddies I've long lost contact with.
